Junk Removal
Not every call is a full organizing project. Some are one item, or a short list of them, that just needs to be gone: a recliner from a move-out, a dead water heater, a stack of old fencing leaning against the shed. Kyle loads it and hauls it away himself, same visit, one truck.
Request a ConsultationJunk removal is pickup and haul-away for furniture, appliances, and large single items you no longer want. Sorted with Kyle handles it the same way as a full organizing job: owner Kyle Colgan shows up with his own truck, loads it himself, and hauls it away the same visit, based in Palm Coast, FL.

When junk removal is the whole job
Not every job needs a sort-and-organize visit. Sometimes a single couch is sitting at the curb after a move, an old washer needs to leave before the new one arrives, or a garage has one stubborn pile left over from a project that never got hauled off. That is junk removal on its own: pickup and haul-away, no organizing plan attached to it. Kyle works alone, so the same person who quotes the job over the phone is the one who shows up and loads the truck.
How a pickup works
A junk removal visit starts with a look at what needs to go. Kyle loads it onto the truck himself, whether that is a single item or several from around the property, and hauls it away before he leaves. There is no separate hauling company to schedule and no second appointment to wait on; the item leaves the same visit it gets picked up. For anything heavy, awkward to carry, or buried behind other things, say so when you reach out so the visit gets planned for it.
What junk removal does not cover
A junk removal visit is pickup and haul-away, done by one person with one truck. It does not include demolition or structural teardown, dumpster rental, or hazardous materials such as old paint, chemicals, or appliances still holding refrigerant, since federal rules require a certified technician to recover that refrigerant before an appliance can be hauled. Full biohazard or hoarding-remediation properties are also outside a solo operator's scope. Post-storm debris hauling and post-storm demolition are outside that scope too: after a storm, that work needs a crew and equipment one person and one truck don't have.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as junk removal versus a full organizing job?
Junk removal is pickup and haul-away only: a couch, an appliance, or a pile of items that needs to leave, with no sorting or storage work attached. A full organizing job adds the sort-and-zone work on top. Both end with Kyle hauling away what goes, the same visit, in the same truck.
Do I need to be there when you pick items up?
Reach out through the contact form with what needs to go, and Kyle will give you a straight answer about scheduling. Either way, the same person who looks at the job is the one who shows up and loads the truck: there is no crew and no subcontractor.
Can you take more than one item in a visit?
Yes. A junk removal visit can cover a single item or several from around the same property, loaded and hauled the same trip. Mention everything you want gone when you reach out so the visit gets planned for the right amount of truck space.
What items won't you take?
Kyle does not take demolition debris, dumpster-rental volumes, or hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, or appliances still holding refrigerant, which federal rules require a certified technician to recover before disposal. A property that has moved into hoarding-remediation territory is also outside a solo operator's scope, and so is post-storm debris hauling or post-storm demolition; that work needs a crew and equipment one person and one truck don't have.
